Community Health Network rehabilitation experts, including physical, occupational and speech therapists work closely with residents’ personal physicians and nursing staff to assure a successful rehab experience. Individuals rehab at Juliette Manor for some of the following reasons; any type of fracture, knee and hip replacements, cerebral vascular accidents or strokes, cardiac surgeries or events and for general strengthening following a lengthy illness.
• Physical Therapy – provides skilled physical therapy services to residents as a way to regain physical strength for all mobility skills.
• Occupational Therapy – provides skilled occupational therapy services to residents as a way to regain physical/cognitive function for completing activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and eating.
• Speech Therapy – provides skilled speech therapy services to residents as a way to regain communication, cognitive and other skills needed for maintaining functioning and quality of life.
• Restorative Nursing Program - the Restorative Nursing program works closely with therapy services to ensure that all residents of Juliette Manor will function at their highest level physiologically, psychologically and socially. This is done through individualized nursing care plans for ambulation, exercise and other therapeutic interventions.
