Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists are health care professionals that specialize in the evaluation and treatment of various diagnoses that limit functional independence. The primary goal of our Occupational Therapists is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life. We can help individuals return to work, sporting and home activities.

The Occupational Therapists at CHN work with individuals of all ages with a variety of illnesses, chronic conditions, orthopedic or work related injuries. Examples of a diagnosis Occupational Therapists commonly treat include: upper extremity injuries, arthritis, lymphedema, strokes, cumulative trauma disorders, or post surgical care such as total hip or knee replacements. Occupational Therapists have expertise in hand therapy, custom splinting and adaptive equipment training. Our Occupational Therapists work closely with your physician or other health care providers. They work one on one with patients so that the patient returns to work and their daily routines quickly following an injury or illness.

Our Occupational Therapy staff is highly-skilled and ready to work with you. A physician referral is required for a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation and establishment of a treatment plan. Occupational Therapy services are offered at a variety of settings through CHN such as inpatient and outpatient at Berlin Memorial Hospital, outpatient clinics in Wautoma and Ripon, Juliette Manor Nursing Home, and Home Care.
